OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The position exists to support and develop our locally controlled business opportunities in Country.
Using the resources available and team mates to drive customer relationships and develop our Sales & Marketing activities. Complying with all necessary controls and procedures, whilst maintaining a high standard of customer care at all times

Strategy & Capability:
• Pro-actively manage and develop relationships with your allocated portfolio of customers
• Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within allocated portfolio
• Closely cooperate with overall account owner and operation teams

Growth & Innovation:
• Identify and be alert to new business opportunities within customer organization to generate new revenue opportunities; coordinate with the Account Owner to gather information to further qualify the opportunity for pursuit and development
• Look for opportunities to improve sales process & performance, in collaboration with the operation teams
• Provide feedback to manager on the progress of sales activities and any potential barriers to the achievement of targets

Operational Excellence:
• Proactively manage client escalations, such as shipment delays and issue resolution
• Essential ongoing input and maintenance of TGF CRM system. CW1 training will be given.
• Quotations to clients within a minimum turn-around time
• Quotation monitoring and success performance. Monthly reporting to Line Manager

Maximising Profitability:
• Attracting new opportunities and develop existing clients to generate additional volume & profit
• Oversee contract preparation & deal negotiations, ensure compliance to company standards
• Actively monitor client developments & report or escalate to line Manager & functional reporting lines


Putting the Customer First:
• Build key contact and relationships within Toll Network. Ensure the business works together to align with One Toll strategy
• Serve as the single point of contact for communication with the assigned customer and manage to the customer service level agreements, standard operating procedures (SOP), contractual obligations and/or other agreements within the customer

SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB

Technical
• Good negotiation skills
• Customer oriented
• Hands-on and good (tele)communication background

Business
• 3+ years’ of relevant working experience within the freight forwarding industry
• Experience in dealing with customer inquiries

Human Relations
• High degree of communication skills
• Strong understanding of both verbal and written English.
• Strong team member and is outgoing and willing to learn, develop and grow
• Proactive and excellent at Customer Services.
• Willing to take ownership of an opportunity or a problem to get to a quick and clear resolution.

• Attention to detail and data accuracy

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Degree/Diploma in transportation/logistics/marketing or above
