*PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE
The Sales Supervisor is in charge of developing and managing accounts & clients in dedicated / assigned market(s) and drive the company’s business performance in various facets. The person understands market structure and sales channels and brings if possible some good branch and market intelligence.
Working in this position, the person would think analytical and plan sales activities with objectives per segment as well as conduct a proper monitor of these.
Responsibilities:
Sales
• Being responsible for accounts and business development for certain markets or segmented accounts
• Maintain existing accounts business and continuously enhance exposure and generate leads
• Source new accounts in assigned markets and segments
• Plan, manage and monitor sales activities (sales calls, telecalls, leads, follow-ups etc.)
• Monitor account performances and develop solutions for improvements if needed upon evaluation
• Composing proposals and agreements for leads
• Liaise strongly with marketing team regards any marketing opportunity with business partners.
• Research and monitor the market (and competitors)
• Any duties and tasks assigned by DOSM / HBD
Reporting
• Weekly and monthly sales report, ad-hoc reports

*QUALIFICATION
• Tertiary studies in tourism Hospitality, Economics or Business preferred
• Knowledge of tourism, geography, foreign cultures
*EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 3-4 years working experience in (hospitality) sales or related branches
• Mind-set of a sales person: analytic, conceptual, highly organized, pro-active, decisive
• Able to understand complex matters and develop constructive solutions.
• Understanding sales processes and know how to manage
• Very good in rhetoric to present products
*SKILLS
• Excellent – Written and spoken English
• Very good - MS Office (Word ,Excel, Outlook, Power point)
• Very good – Professional Communication (written and spoken)
• Basic – reservation and CRM systems
• A good team worker with an open personality and fresh spirit
• A communicator and outgoing personality
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Flexibility to work overtime
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal direct supervision
• Travelling within the region upon request
