A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
-Function as a subject matter expert on assigned products, and monitor industry trends and develop business plans to meet the sales targets in a professional, compliant, ethical and effective manner.
-Manage and build on strategic relationships with existing customers whilst acquiring new customer accounts.
-Develop sales plans, activities and campaigns and manage the day-to-day sales activities.
-Develop business opportunities with new and existing clients to maintain product loyalty, and increase market share.
-Co-operate and manage distributors in terms of selling activities, channels management, inventory tracking, forecasting, coaching and training.
-Provide continuous clinical and technical support during cases.
-Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards, and that documented processes, procedures and internal quality management system are followed and adhered to.
-Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities or customer complaints relating to the product, procedure and quality system.
-Assist in the planning and execution of annual marketing and training agenda
-Achieve quarterly and annual sales and margin targets.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
-Bachelors degree required
-Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and working knowledge of company products and services
Additional Requirements
-Healthcare/ Medical / Pharmaceutical/ Business/Commerce Diploma/ Degree.
-3-5 years of previous sales experience in medical devices, medical equipment or Pharmaceutical industry
-Existing network in medical device industry will be an asset
-Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software
-Proven evidence of Medtronic Leadership Traits:
-Shape- Demonstrates global business acumen, thinks critically and makes sound decisions, sets strategic direction
-Engage- Collaborates and creates alignment; attracts, deploys, and develops talent; fosters diversity and inclusion
-Innovate- Focuses on patient and customer, generates breakthrough ideas, initiates and leads change
-Achieve- Sets high standards, instills operational excellence, drives accountability, models ethical behavior
-Proven strong performance record in sales
-Existing network in medical device industry will be an asset
-Strong learning agility and problem solving skills
-Able to assimilate and communicate complex technical information
-Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
-Team work and sales oriented
