PURPOSE STATEMENT:
• To develop and implement an AREA commercial plan which meets distribution, coverage and volume objectives.
• To manage appointed distributors and retailers in the assigned areas in order to meet distribution and volume objectives.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Implement an area commercial plan that meets the volume objectives of the Regional Commercial plan and is in line with brand strategy and the needs of the trade.
• Manage the credit of the distributors and key retailers to ensure timely payment to the Company.
• Manage the distribution within the area in order to ensure that availability is maximized in line with brand strategies and the needs of the market.
• Implement national presence of promotion programs with optimum use of resources and materials in order to achieve the highest in-store visibility and sales performance.
• Ensure all point of sales materials are tidily displayed at the best locations inside the retail outlets.
• Establish close working relationships with the distributors, retailers and local authorities to gain high levels of support.
• Provide commercial and competitive information and reports on performance of distributors to ensure that the Area Sales Manager/ Commercial Director are fully informed at all times.

*Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
• Previous Sales Executives or Supervisors experience with water heater category and/ or building materials category. Project sales experience should be an advantage.
• Previous Sales Executives or Supervisors experience in electronics, home appliances products or fast moving consumer goods category.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Effective negotiation skills and selling skills.
• Able to work within a team.
• Able to comprehend and communicate in English.

• Achievement of Area volume and turnover objectives and targets
• Good management of customers’ credit
• Effectively manage appointed distributors and retailers
• Sustain and develop distribution network in the area
• Good management of point of sales material
