Basic Functions:
Strategically maximize the exposure of our properties across all online distribution and communication channels to ensure increased room revenues, decreased operational costs and optimal return on investment
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the pre-set on monthly Individual Sales Quota is achieved
• Assisting the Sales Manager in the development of the Sales and Promotional Marketing plan
• Establishing a regular call pattern for meeting with principles of target markets.
• Forecast, analyze and report Sales and revenue on Profit results
• Participating in preparation and planning of the Annual Operating Plan, Departmental Objectives and other costs related to the Annual Budget.
• Participating in developing/reviewing rate structures and conditions applicable to various marketing segments, based on market feedback and conditions
• Being updated with trade shows in due time such the company can schedule the appropriate budget: Participate in trade shows, domestically and internationally. Participate in conventions and promotional events within the hotel, the industry and customer organizations as necessary.
• Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required
• Liaising closely with other departments within the hotel to ensure efficient and regular communication of sales activities.
• Actively source new account and develop existing accounts that will meet the yield objective of the hotel from these market segments.
• Measuring effectively and reporting on a timely basis, sales results with updated strategies and competitor information to the ADOS /Sales managers.
• Maintaining regular contact with key contacts in the appropriate market segments including site inspections and sales calls.
• Assisting with the development and performance reviews, identifying key personnel for further development and structured career path.
• Attending meetings as required.
• Implementing opportunities for quality Team Building
• Ensuring compliance with legislated health safety requirements within the workplace
• Complying with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures.
• Promoting actively a work environment, which cares for guests and associates alike
• Performing other tasks as defined by the management.

• At least Bachelor degree in any field
• At least 2 years’ experience in sales
• Strong inter-personality skills, proficiency in English communication and computer literate
• Strong in driving results, overall sales skills, effective telephone communication skills
• Broad understanding of function and group room space management
• Proven ability in group sales process and related strategies
• Maximizing revenue by up-selling packages and creative food & beverage
• Understanding and achievement of team and individual goals
• Understanding of need time strategy
• Familiarity and knowledge of all departments within the hotel
Career Advancements:
