Sales Executive

*Overview of duties
"• Behaves and acts in an exemplary fashion, embodying the brand mindset
• Promotes the image and services of the resort while contributing to increasing the overall profitability of the resort by actively recruiting new clients as well as maintaining the current client base so that maximum growth occurs
• Applies Brand's quality Standards (SOPs)
*Main responsibilities
*Customer relations
"• Translates the Pullman mindset to guests, embodying sociability and proximity.
• Is the contact of point for ""Sales"" customers - approaching them, negotiating and closing the deal with them
• Is totally responsible for their satisfaction from the first contact until after the sale
• Makes sure that guests' feedback is taken seriously
• Listens to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
• In collaboration with all departments ensures that the hotel delivers the brand's customer promise"
Professional techniques / Production
"• Assists DOSM and SMs to prepare reports, and materials for publications and presentations if required.
• Manages ""key"" accounts to ensure maximum guest satisfaction and continued growth as per assignment of DOSM.
• Prepares Banquet Event Order (BEO).
• Maintains and develops relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails.
• Makes courtesy calls and sales calls upon request.
• Arranges meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
• Assists DOSM or SMs on identifying the activities of competitors and potential collaborators and to identify business opportunities and threats to gathering market and customer information.
• Meets and greets clients and visitors; arranges for inspection and conducts inspection with clients; entertains clients if requested.
• Records enquiries, sales leads or any new business and submits copies to the DOSM .
• Works closely with relevant departments to ensure that all contractual agreements with guests are strictly met.
• Assists Sales Administrator in some administrative jobs: sets up and coordinates meetings and conferences."
Team management and cross-departmental responsibilities
"• Is the point of contact for all departments before a deal is closed.
• Coordinates with other departments to maximise the sale of the Hotel's products and services while assuring guest's best satisfaction.
• Boosts cross-departmental working methods thanks to his/her relational skills, adaptability and professionalism.
• Forms a duo with the F&B (Service and Kitchen) for events/functions."
* Commercial / Sales
"• Helps increase the resort's profitability by being actively engaging in sale of resort's products and services: upselling, offer for sale, promotes the hotel's range of services etc.
• Gives inputs in the hotel's promotion packages, sales strategy devising, etc.
• Gets feedbacks from guests and share them with relevant departments to best improve the hotel's standards"
* Management and administration
"• Respects the resort's price list for all products and services.
• Respects the resort's policies and procedures in terms of contracting, billing"
* Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment
"• Ensures all rooms accessible to customers are clean and tidy.
• Applies the hotel safety regulations (fire hazards etc).
• Ensures respect of the hotel's commitments to the ""Environment Charter"" (energy saving, recycling and sorting waste etc)."

Education / Professional experience
• Degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related discipline.
• Two years experience in Hotel/Resort Sales Department.
• Fluent in English and the national language.
Skills / Qualities

open-mindedness, interpersonal skills and sense of initiative."
• Good literacy of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Office Outlook, Internet Explorer.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Must have excellent customer relations and negotiation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.
