REPORTING TO: Sales Manager
DEPARTMENT: Sales
LOCATION: HCMC

POSITION PURPOSE:
This role will be responsible for the end-to-end selling, consultation and booking of group and tailored FIT trips. This will include product development, itinerary building and customer service, based on the PEAK DMC Vietnam minimum standards, company philosophies and operational systems.

By providing customised product that leverages market trends and fulfils our client business’s needs, both proactively and on request, PEAK DMC Vietnam will become a market leader in branded and white labelled group and FIT sales growth. PEAK DMC Vietnam will provide product in both a B2B (business to business) and B2C (direct to consumer) environments. The consultant is the primary contact point for clients and, therefore, must have a full understanding of new and existing product and itineraries.

• Deliver sales results through exceptional customer service, fast turnaround times and in-depth product knowledge.
• Follow the sales team business plan.
• Commit to the ‘One Best Way’ sales process.
• Set sales goals and meet deadlines on a daily basis while working to achieve and exceed these goals.
• Be part of a successful environment by supporting colleagues and working closely with all departments.
• Have a great attitude, behave responsibly and deliver on sales performance targets.
• Identify the needs and motivators of your clients and offer relevant competitive product accordingly.

Training:
• Complete monthly sales skills training program led by your manager
• Participate in product knowledge training monthly supported by operations and purchasing team.

Product Knowledge:
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the features and benefits of all core products.
• Make confident recommendations to customers, providing them with the product/s that suits and fulfils their needs.
• Identify product gaps of the business and arrange for Purchasing and operations to assist in filling gaps
• Expand product range monthly to increase DMC offering to internal and external partners

Marketing:
• Be aware of and understand the current partners marketing campaigns and publications and how they add value to the customer.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with internal and external partners.

Problem Solving & Analytical Skills:
• Demonstrate effective conflict resolution skills to ensure a positive outcome for all involved – business and customer.
• Analyse personal sales performance data and comparing your performance to budget and/or stretch targets daily, weekly and monthly.

Communication:
• Communicate in a timely manner in Written or verbal English to the highest standard.
• Participate in regular team sales meetings that information share and inspire team members to greater results.
• Conduct monthly one-on-one sales meetings with all team members and ensure they have an effective plan for success and training including action plan.
• Ensure all team members attend product and operations meetings to keep informed of product and operational opportunities and to share knowledge internally.
• Sets clear expectations and consequences.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all audiences.
• Fosters and maintains a proactive working relationship with their surrounding DMC departments.
• Conduct a weekly business meeting

Financial & Business Acumen:
• Understands, monitor and track personal incentives.
• Effectively prepare for a sales audit.
• Understand the business model in relation to margins, markup and profit targets
• Commit to and follow business rules.
• Understand and update Enquiry Summary sheet accurately.
• Understand and adhere to risk management and operational policies across the DMC.

Customer Relations:
• Provide outstanding professional service by adhering to the customer sales process at all times.
• Act with honesty and integrity at all times to create high trust relationships with your team and all customers.
• Build and maintain a high repeat and referral customer base.
• Value every enquiry from end to end by ensuring all leads end in an outcome.

Time Management and accuracy:
• Highly organised approach to work.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time, completing within required time frame and to a quality standard.
• Plans day/ week according to sales priorities.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills to meet sales deadlines.
• Ability to always check for accuracy and correctness.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Strong destination/regional and local travel knowledge
• Significant travel industry experience, ideally with adventure travel
• Previous Sales experience essential
• Experience in adventure travel product development
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships
• Fluent English language skills (written and verbal)
