Sales & Reservation Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Director of Sales & Marketing – PHD
WORKPLACE: 18E Cong Hoa, Tan Binh, HCMC

As a Sales manager you are responsible to develop and foster business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls and tours of the Republic Plaza Serviced Apartment. Also develops strategic action plans for the property to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.

Identify areas of opportunity in performance and recommend tools and sales training to optimize performance of sales team. Additionally, work with individual property teams to identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales and marketing resources.

** Sales Management:
- Prospect for new business through solicitation, networking, cold-calling.
- Improve hotel visibility by conducting outside sales calls/blitzes, attending trade shows and market segment related events
- Design and deliver marketing promotions and campaigns involving direct mail, social media, ads, etc.
- Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly and annual targeted sales goals and profit margins
- Maintain an active list of accounts to ensure continuous relationship development
- Develop and execute monthly focused and aggressive action plans
- Generate requests for proposals and contracts and manage efforts to secure business for specific market segment.
- Negotiate contracts ensuring all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and actively up-sell each business opportunity to maximize hotel profit.
- Maintain and secure repeat business through client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain knowledge of industry and trends in market, particularly amongst competitor set.
- Coordinate ongoing research of the appropriate market trends and related information for development of new marketing strategies.
- Make reasonable recommendations to improve potential from various markets and goal attainment.
- Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients. Internally promote Crescent programs.

** Reservation Management:
- Act as a main resource for reservation agents needing assistance technically or with regards to achieving customer satisfaction.
- Ensure reservation department and Front Office staff are constantly aware of availability states open, on request, closed dates, high demand dates etc.
- Responds to all guest reservation requests and executes prompt, courteous and accurate guest service at all times.
- Fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities and services.
- Answer guest inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions etc.
- Manage systems that are set up within the reservations department to ensure accurate handling and monitoring of phone calls.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Track all reservations picked up from all On-line channels like hotel website, OTA, GDS, other third party etc.

PREREQUISITES:
- Proven success in a similar role and environment.
- Empathy towards your customers and colleagues.
- Pride and attention to detail.
- Polished personal presentation with Warm, confident and hospitable personality.
- Experience in Serviced Apartment sales is preferrable.

EXPERIENCE:
3 to 4 year’s experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area, prefer experienced in Serviced Apartment.
