Job Summary
VEC Academy requires a motivated, results-based ‘Sales & Marketing Executive’ with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organisation, and enhanced multi-tasking abilities. The position requires exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals, as well as an understanding of what motivates customers to buy and how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales of educational courses in language centres in Hanoi or Vietnam.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the sales, advertising and marketing of products and courses related to VEC Academy.
2. Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics.
3. Research prospective accounts in the targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement.
4. Work in conjunction with the Business Development Manager to research, develop and market new courses and products.
5. Work in conjunction with the VP Global Corporate Strategy to ensure that all advertising and marketing of products is aligned with the VEC corporate marketing strategy.
6. Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition, our clients and our positioning within Vietnamese education sector.
7. Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the sales strategy and implement the sales program accordingly.
8. Provide daily reports of field sales success and communicate VOC data to superiors.
9. Budget management and planning with the guidance of the Business Development Manager.
10. Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the assigned area.

1. Fluent in Vietnamese and English, both writing and speaking.
2. Must have 2 years’ experience and a proven track record in education sales or a related market in Hanoi/Vietnam. Preferably having worked in sales in a language centre.
3. In-depth knowledge of the Hanoi/Vietnamese market.
4. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
5. Excellent organisational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
6. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
7. Superior presentation, communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
