Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, contingency, geopolitical, operational, credit, pension, insurance, financial crime and regulatory compliance, market and reputation risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.
Risk Business Mananger (External Reporting) is responsible for ensuring compliance with all SBV, HKMA and PRA regulations and managing internal and external reporting accordingly. The role also supports diverse projects on behalf of Risk. The role holder will carry out activities that will include most of the following:
• Conduct reporting to comply with regulatory and group requirement on an accurate and timely basis
• Prepare information for internal meetings
• Participate in projects assigned such as local Basel 2 implementation.
• Support change initiatives
• Promote sound asset quality of VNM’s wholesale lending portfolio
• Operate with high integrity and demonstrate conduct in line with HSBC Group values
• Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe internal policies and external regulation
• Operate with customer centricity at all times
• Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring.
• Identify, address and escalates issues
• Provide general guidance/direction to mentor members of the team and develop their skills

Yêu cầu ứng viên
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Bachelor degree holder, a professional qualification in accounting or credit analysis are required
• At least 3 years of banking experience
• Experience in Financial Analysis and Corporate/Commercial banking would be an advantage
• Strong writing skills in both English and Vietnamese
• Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel
