Reliability Engineer - Mechanical

The purpose of the role is to ensure optimal reliability of the plant equipment and adherence to safety requirements by developing, implementing, reviewing and updating Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) work strategies for plant equipment, conducting root cause failure analysis investigations, defect elimination & improvement projects.
• Conduct failure / root cause analysis investigations for all defects on critical production assets to improve availability and reduce risk of repeat events.
• Undergo cost analysis of all maintenance equipment to identify high spend or trends enabling key areas of focus.
• Conduct downtime analysis for hard to identify chronic issues causing plant downtime or high frequency replacements
• Develop Equipment Maintenance Strategies (EMS) with constant review of equipment types and their existing strategies.
• Develop, manage & optimize the maintenance strategies for all maintenance equipment.
• Focus on industry practice, standardisation and repeatability.
• Identify, manage and support execution of reliability & safety improvement projects on plant equipment, standards and processes.
• Work with vendors and external parties for improvement initiatives.
• Review reports and raise rectification work orders
• Assist with maintenance planning and maintenance team by providing technical support.
• Establish Technical documentation and ensure documents are properly filed in appropriate manner
• Complete major shutdown equipment inspections
• Compile and monitor maintenance metrics reports in accordance with site standard requirements.

Qualification
- University graduation or above, major in mechanical
- Knowledge about international standards as ASME, ASTM, API, ISO…
- Knowledge about Vietnamese standards as TCVN
- Engineering, technical knowledge
- Understood clearly about standards as ASME, ASTM, API, ISO…
- Understanding engineering design/drawings
- Use software for design as Autocad, Navisworks Freedom
Experience
- Good experience in engineering, 2-3 years relative experiences.
- Experience in SMP (structure/Mechanical/Piping)
- Ability to sketch drawing by hand
