Due to expansion, PACSUN - a United States based retail clothing brand is looking for a high-calibre Regional Country Manager.

Reporting directly to the Senior leadership, your key focus is to ensure PACSUN (PS) products ship and arrive on time, are to company quality standards and information flows throughout supply chain to necessary stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
*Production:
- Understands manufacturing process and how to maximize efficiency.
- Work with vendor to be “ahead” of any issues and any necessary Corrective Action Plan
- Monitor Purchase Orders to ship on time
- Enforce and support previously negotiated lead times
- Monitor process for audits of entire process from receipt of materials to final inspection, to ensure products deliver on time and of first quality
- Provide input on seasonal Factory allocation
- Act as eyes and ears for PS with all factory and regional issues, providing solutions to problems in a timely manner
- Complete end to end knowledge of all production at assigned vendors and the ability to report on such to all stakeholders
- Verify and ensure timely updates of Brand’s Production status report from assigned vendors (PSR)
- Manage forecasts to ensure timely delivery of products and ability to identify gaps
- Ability to “troubleshoot” and offer solutions for all issues that arise within a normal manufacturing process or cycle
- Troubleshoot all shortages prior to shipment

*Quality Assurance:
Ensure goods align with PS quality expectations

*General
- Understand the PS process and systems that support effort
- Map out strategic plan for all production and quality initiatives by vendors
- Weekly reporting to PS Stakeholders
- Promote PS corporate initiatives locally
- Understanding of PS product and consumer
- Act as eyes and ears for PS Brands production related issues.
- Ensure bulk production garment tests completed on time and approved prior to shipment
- Frequent travel required

Key Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Textile and Clothing, or related subject
- 10+ years’ experience in similar position and industry
- Direct experience with factory production process
- Garment manufacturing process and systems
- Strong knowledge of denim manufacturing process (yarn to finished garment) and denim wash processes.
- Intimate knowledge of assigned regional sourcing base
- Act independently without daily supervision
- Excellent communication skills with spoken and written English, with local language a priority
- Self-motivated, detail-minded, organized & able to work under pressure
- Experience in product development, sourcing and garment construction
- Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills to establish priorities and meet specific timelines
- Ability to proactively trouble shoot and problem solve
- Focus on commercial specification software, Excel and Word is highly required
