PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Being at the forefront of our business, the role of Trade Marketing & Distribution is to excite shoppers to buy and customers to sell our brands, to help achieve our growth objectives. The Group TM&D strategy is therefore built around three core competencies; (1) Route to Market, (2) Adult Tobacco Shopper Marketing and (3) Customer Management. These are reinforced through people’s capabilities and systems.
The purpose of the Regional Business Development Executive role is to support Regional Business Development Manager to build and maintain the required capabilities within the organisation to ensure effective development and execution of the TM&D strategy
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
A. OFF FIELD (80%)
* Trade Marketing
1. Develop Trade Activities/Programs to support region to achieve the agreed target based on Cycle instruction from HQ
2. Conduct briefing & ensure understanding of trade supports for field force
3. Monitor & feedback on the effectiveness of Trade Activities/Programs
4. Complete ad-hoc/weekly/monthly/quarterly trade activity reports as required
5. Manage additional project resources as required for regional co-ordination of TM&D initiatives
6. In cooperate closely with office & merchandising team to ensure logistics of PBSA/supporting tools to be delivered to areas on time & in full
7. Ensure all logistics of the activities/programs before kick off
* Sales Team Management
1. Communicate & work closely with Field Force team (Area Manager, Territory Executive) to reinforce team to ensure best performances
2. Align with FF team to reallocate project resources if necessary to ensure resources are maximized
B. ON FIELD (20%)
1. Collect market information and propose activity to capture the opportunity
2. Check & review the pros & cons of activities/programs to adjust respectively
