ABOUT VINUNIVERSITY
VinUniversity is a newly developed, private, non-profit university in Hanoi, Vietnam. It was established by Vingroup with a mission to be the first world-class, internationally accredited and ranked university in Vietnam. VinUniversity has two overarching goals: to excel in teaching; and to produce graduates and research that contribute to developing the key economic sectors of Vietnam.
The formation of the VinUniversity Project has resulted from the collaboration of Vingroup with Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania. Cornell provides academic consulting on Management, Engineering and Technology; and Penn focuses on the Health Sciences disciplines. Both Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania are distinguished Ivy League institutions based in the United States of America. Cornell is involved in every aspect of the development of VinUniversity from infrastructure and campus planning to curriculum development and faculty hiring. Cornell’s SC Johnson College of Business is providing extensive academic advisement in a variety of areas, drawing from a wealth of faculty expertise at multiple colleges and units at Cornell University. Penn’s medical and nursing Colleges are functioning in a similar fashion to guide the formation of health sciences education at VinUniversity and to interface with Vinmec, Vingroup’s outstanding health system which currently encompasses 7 hospitals throughout Vietnam.
VinUniversity aims to meet the QS 5-star rating standards and will include the following Colleges within the University: a College of Business, Hospitality, and Real Estate; a College of Engineering and Technology; a College of Health Services. The University will be an English Medium Instruction (EMI) institution and plans to open for the inaugural class of students in Fall 2020.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
HR Department at Vin University Project is looking for an entrepreneurial-minded Recruitment specialist who is passionate for the chance to grow our Employer Brand through all online platforms and to develop a pool of talented scholars for VinUni.

The position is initial 6 months contract based with possible extension to be full-time employee after one year. We offer highly competitive package in commensurate with experiences and skills.

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for the development, management and growth of VinUni Careers’ social media presence to attract top talents in academia.

The Recruitment Specialist must have strong creative, professional writing skills and technology skills and will work as part of the Recruitment team to create social initiatives, recruitment campaign, jobs advertisings that grow our brand as employer of choice. You will be a continuous learner, following and absorbing the insights of social media, of academic worlds and incorporating best practices into the University recruitment strategy to successfully/strategically attract top talent.


What You’ll Do:
• Develop creative content plans that leverage the social media space and build the VinUni employer brand. You will play a significant role in the strategy and execution of ideas across platforms, as well as collaborate within recruiting team to support hiring initiatives across all departments, colleges of VinUni.
• Responsible for developing platform and content across owned social channels, including data/surveys, infographics/visuals, tweets, status updates, blog posts, pins, photos and videos. Leverage measurement tools to provide progress reports and insights.
• Search and build candidate pools for academic and non-academic positions.
• Interview potential candidates to test their motivation, evaluate if candidates are able to and willing to commit with VinUniversity
• Understand the Organization Chart and positions that needed to fill in
• Take care of all incoming and outgoing correspondence with candidates; update the data for all applied candidates.
• Support selection process in posting job ads, conduct preliminary interview, screening, scheduling interviews, onboarding new employee, data record…
What You’ll Need:
• You must love VinUni! As the voice of our brand across our channels, your enthusiasm and “crush it” attitude has got to be the real deal.
• Experience writing, editing, and crafting influential content for leading social media platforms.
• Real-word experience planning social media programs that span owned (e.g. VinUni website), earned (e.g. Facebook) and paid (sponsored posts). Knowledge of key social media platform guidelines, including, but not limited to those associated with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Google+, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• 1-2 years direct experience developing content and managing social properties in a professional environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of social advertising methods including the use of Facebook Ad Manager and Power Editor is a plus.
• Experience with photography and/or photo editing software (e.g. Photoshop) a plus.
• BA or BS with focus on communication, advertising and/or marketing.

• Strong storytelling / copywriting / copy editing skills.

• Should be a problem solver, a self-starter, and a forward thinker - that special sauce comprised of patience, enthusiasm and a sense of humor.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and is extremely organized.
• Excellent English both in speaking and writing
