Receivable Accountant

California Fitness & Yoga Centers is looking for Junior Receivable Accountant.

FUNCTIONAL OBJECTIVE: The position will contribute to the efficient and effective workings of the finance department by executing daily tasks with a strong attention to detail. This role will utilize strong accounting knowledge, time management skills and effective problem solving to ensure success.

Managing financial account of sales, receivable, invoicing;
Managing monthly VAT payable and reports;

REPORTS TO: Assistant Manager, Accounting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

55% Financial & reporting management:
 Up-date daily transactions relating to sales, receivable and collection;
 Cash collection and Bank reconciliation;
 Proceed invoice issuance and management properly and timely
 Act as receivable auditor

35% Accounting & taxation:
 Manage balance account of receivable and revenue, cash & bank and other assets & liabilities
 Reconcile receivable to customers, unearned revenue, staff advances, provide statement of account (if any);
 Verify cash voucher payments and update into Accounting system in accordance with the guidelines stated in Accounting Manual
 Monthly tax report

10% Administration:
 Filing every related supporting documents; bank statements;
 Team work; proactively assist higher level other tasks and willing support subordinates to complete tasks properly and timely
 Willing to travel frequently within HCMC; and other provinces
 Ad-hoc (if any)

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):
 100% of sale contracts are updated and followed up properly and timely;
 100% of cash collection and reconciliation are well prepared and signed off;
 100% of invoice issuance against member contracts & full of receipt timely;
 90% of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations are appropriately prepared and filed;
 80% appropriate preparation and recording of cash voucher payments;

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
 Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Finance / Accounting)
 0-2 years accounting experience
 Experience in Financial accounting software
 Written and verbal English is essential
