R&D – Merchandising Manager

- To develop the new products that meet the requirements of company by composing the specification of the samples/products with the quality, designs, specification, certificate required
- To follow up the progress to ensure that the work is finished within the lead time
- To manage all activities of sample creation, reports/samples retaining. Keeping tracing when required
- To establish the product master file for each product which can link to the manufacturing process, material used, customer’s requirements/ comment; customer compliant
- To develop purchasing strategies
- To source for potential suppliers in domestic as well as oversea by attending fairs, meeting
- To negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.
To prepare purchase order according to the company’s procedure.
- For SKU or categories, to apply price modeling information to manage price. Utilizing product, packing configurations and brand architecture to exploit ladder
- To manage subordinate staffs in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
- To lead Purchasing team and R&D team and manage all activities within department
- Well understand cookware/Home appliance biz and experience marketing activities in field

- BA degree in Marketing, Economics and related majors or above
- At least 3 - 5 years of equivalent experience in R&D, Merchandising
- At least 3 years on managerial level
- Good at written and verbal English
- Good communication and negotiating skill
- Proven ability to work on and lead a cross-functional team
- Has experience working in cookware & electric home appliance industry is an advantage
- Able to handle multi-tasks and willing to travel
- Male or Female from 30 or above
