Established in Vietnam in 1993, ABB recently has around 900 employees working in three regions across the country to ensure the nationwide presence of the ABB brand. The Head Office and Transformer Factories are located in Hanoi, High Voltage and Medium Voltage Power Product factories are in Bac Ninh, other branch offices are in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
ABB’s Power Grid division delivers products, systems, services and software solutions. The products mainly include high voltage products, transformers, grid system and grid automation. The major customers are power value chain serving utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure.
ABB Vietnam currently has an opportunity for a Product Development Engineer who would be responsible to lead the technical engineering activities effectively and adhering to all the requirements and policy. Joining our team in BacNinh office and reporting to Engineering Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare project proposal, transfer price and price development
• Implementation of new product development
• Prepare work instruction, control plan, etc. and handle over to production when new product development complete
• Responsible for product technology & project management
• Support production team on technical issues
• Work closely with R&D, TLC and Customer during product development.
• Support Quality in spot test instructions.
• Responsible for tools needed for the manufacturing process.
• Closely cooperate with maintenance engineer for tool maintenance and improvement …
• Evaluate of suppliers for tools
• Design tools in C-reo, Solid Works …
• Prepare and set up work instructions in development phase
• Responsible for spare parts regarding tools
• Evaluate, design and implement the new production tools

Yêu cầu ứng viên
• Really good command of English
• Mechanical Engineering (university graduated); positive with Design, R&D , Project Management
• More than 2 years relevant experienced in industrial/ production environment
• Skills using Creo, Solid Works advantageous
• Experience in quality control & production process advantageous
• Able to work independently and structurally
• Able to work under pressure
