Our client wants to enter the Vietnam's Market, and is seeking an individual with a strong background in quality control on household plastic products, and willing to work from home.
Description
The quality manager will be working from home, and reports directly to the Quality Control Head at the regional headquarter:
* Supports new products' qualifications and engineering evaluations.
* Periodic audits at suppliers' factories for new/existing products by reviewing and evaluating suppliers' process capabilities and ensure the effectiveness and implementation of QC procedures in all factories.
* Responsible for analzying product non-conformance problems, trouble shoot defective products, and identifying root cause, while enforcing appropriate corrective actions.
* Update/Prepare test practices and inspection standards for existing and new products.
* Conducts statistical data analysis, administer quality tools like SPC to uncover process variation for optimisation.
* Administers new production testing and inspection from PP to EP, analysis and report/follow up the testing result.
* Implement and Control reliability/performance testing for all new products to ensure effective implementation within the planned schedule.
Profile
Self-motivated, and entrepreneurial mindset in addition to:
* Engineering degree
* At least 3+ years of working experience in household plastic products.
* Extensive understanding and knowledge of test standards and international quality.
* Ability to work under pressure, self motivated, and independent.
* Good presentation, reporting and communication skills.
* Competent in PC-based programs like Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Proficient in English and Vietnamese. Chinese is a plus.
