Overall Objectives
The quality inspector is providing inspection service for LifeStraw products under Vestergaard interest with focus on finished products in random inspection, but also including incoming and in-line production inspection upon arrangement. Inspection service aims for quality inspection acceptance and quality improvement purpose.
90% of time is travelling and working at Gyeonggi-do, KOREA, 1hour drive from airport, 10% is at Vietnam.
You will report to Quality Manager and be part of Supply Chain Water.
Key Accountabilities
• Carry out the acceptance inspection (including visual inspection, dimension measurement and functionality examination) of LifeStraw products in compliance with inspection plans and products specification
• Prepare and submit update inspection reports accurately and timely to Quality manager
• Coordinate with the manufacturer and Water Lab to collect samples for in-house lab test in daily basic
• Supervise and check production process upon request
• Detect the potential issues during inspections at manufacturing and report to Quality manager in a timely manner
• Recommend improvements to the production process to strengthen quality control inline

Yêu cầu ứng viên
Education & Experience
• Minimum college degree in technical fields such as materials, chemicals, mechanics, foods and process engineering or equivalent
• Understanding basic principle of ISO 2859, ISO 9001 or relevant standards
• Minimum two-year experience in quality inspection in manufacturing unit
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office
• Intermediate level of English
• Basic statistical analysis
Competencies
• Responsible, patient and trustworthy
• Attention to detail and data driven approach
• Good at planning and communication
• Ability to work under pressure
• Be able to work abroad independently in long-term (South Korea)
• Fluency in English, Vietnamese and able to speak Korean is preferred
