Quality Engineer

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Plan and deploy testing, inspection and audits for RSC’s products and processes; drive the improvements when the quality issues arise; review supplier’s quality data and continue the quality improvement; lead QA team and track the team performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deploy quality testing, inspection and audits as planned;
• Perform the quality functions of NPD introduction;
• Review quality reports provided by QA inspectors and suppliers;
• Review the quality data and performance with suppliers as planned;
• Lead or take part in the improvement for the quality issues and verify the effectiveness;
• Drive the continuing quality improvement from suppliers;
• Provide the training to RSCQA inspectors on the necessary skills;
• Lead RSCQA team and track the team performance;
• Perform the tasks requested from senior quality engineer;
• Perform the tasks requested from other stakeholders;
• Perform the following tasks specifically from senior quality engineer:
o Provide the monthly and quarterly quality data and charts;
o Update the actions and status for the quality issues;
o Update the actions and status for quality tasks;

• Major in Engineering or Science, preferably a BS degree;
• Ample experiences with quality inspection, audit and quality control;
• Preferred with experience of inspecting electronic products and familiarity with IPC-610 standard;
• Skillfully use a variety of quality tools to find, analyze and solve quality issues;
• Minimum 5 years related experience.
• Ability in communication and reporting:
o Mother language is Vietnamese;
o Skillfully use Microsoft Office;
o Fluent in reading and writing English;
o Speaking Chinese is plus
