Quality Control Manager

Scope of validity/ authority: Quality control of Orana Vietnam products and raw materials

Purpose:
To pronounce the key responsibilities and tasks of the QC Manager of Orana Vietnam considering the present situation of the company

Responsibility & Main tasks :
- To run the day-to-day QC laboratory and manage laboratory staff
- To coordinate the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 and HACCP standards
- To ensure the quality control of products and raw materials are properly conducted.

In order to fulfil the above-mentioned responsibilities, the Quality Control Manager is requested to perform the following tasks:
- To determine and describe clearly the tasks to be fulfiled by each laboratory staff.
- To maintain the lab room in good order and up to hygienic standard.
- To set up all documentation required by active law for the registration of OVL products.
- To analyse all finished products according to specifications and issue COA for approved products.
- To coordinate with the Production Manager and QA Manager in handling quality-related issues in production.
- To check the quality of raw materials that are delivered to the factory.
- To coordinate with the Warehouse Manager and the Purchasing and Delivery Manager in handling quality-related issues of raw materials.
- To implement preventive methods in quality control.
- To initiate and maintain the documentation and implementation of ISO 9001:2008/HACCP in the QC department.
- To make proposals concerning how to improve the quality of products.
- To handle customer complaints about the quality of delivered products.
- To file properly quality documents and quality-related correspondence as well as regulations.
- To keep confidential all quality-related information and documents against outsiders.
- To control the use of lab equipment.
- To report on quality issues to the board of managers.
- To observe on the quality and procedure of factories that process Fruits for ORANA.
- To observe on the quality of Raw fruits that are collected from the farmers

- BS/BA degree in Food engineering.
- English skills for working communication.
- Knowledge in HACCP, ISO system.

- Insurance and Paid-leaves as required by Labor Law
- Shuttle Bus in Ho Chi Minh
- Working time: Mon to Fri from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
