Responsibilities:
• Implements, drives and continuously improves manufacturing processes, including working tools, in-process audits, schedules, and inspection programs, so that the processes follow best practices or Standard Operations Procedures (SOP)
• Performs routine check to ensure that machinery and tools are up to the standards outlined in the SOP and best practices. Any deviation should be documented and sent to factory management
• Signatory holder on the Brand side of inspection certificates. Helps to review, manage and drive factory performance in his/her area of responsibility
• Understands seasonal product direction and any specific strategic product requirements and supports vendor understanding
• Ensures incoming materials and components have been inspected and monitors quality during initial input in production
• Ensures technical specifications and factory work sheets are accurate, ensuring product specifications match with seal sample
• Reviews prototypes, sales samples (SMS), size set, pre-production samples (PP) and seal samples with vendor technical team in preparation for final production, ensuring vendor feedback and non-conformances have been discussed to minimize potential production issues
• Trains vendors’ technical team, QA and QC on product expectations (aesthetic, constructions, performance, measuring, fit, etc.), ensuring that only approved quality product is shipped to customers
• Works with vendor to ensure an effective QA management system in place, and supports where necessary to deliver production against Brand expectations.
• Assesses and appraises the sampling, working practices, and capability of vendors on technical development process, identifies areas for continuous improvement required for efficient delivery of product
• Uses effective communication to build honest, open, close working relationship with vendors to enhance driving Continuous Improvement.
• Works with vendor to identify and agrees specialist quality assurance prevention program in preparation for bulk production.
• Supports Technical Team in identifying areas needing update or enhancement in construction & performance requirement documents, which serves as the standard between developer, Tech, QA and vendor. Briefs updated versions to vendors.
• Assists in auditing vendor performance against self-inspection criteria.
• Manages completion of final inspection report with vendor and maintains relevant data onto SAP system
• Supports Merchandising Team where necessary
• Supports materials development merchandisers with any materials’ (e.g. fabric) quality issue

Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant product category in engineering, production and QA
- Experienced in factory management, quality management systems and quality auditing, preferably for international brands
- Experienced in relevant product testing and standards
- Knowledge in the materials (e.g. fabric) characteristics of relevant product categories
- Fully conversant with process control/ QA/ QC and final inspection procedures
- Experienced in the areas of CR, Manufacturing and LEAN preferred
- Good team player with strong communications skills in multi-cultural environment
- Good analytical skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Can-do attitude, while willing and able to come up with practical solutions when problems arise
- Ability to self-manage, prioritise and multi-task
- Ability to work both independently & as part of a team
- Experienced in working effectively across multiple functions in a global business
- Strong communications skills in a multi-cultural environment
- PC literate: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Good command of spoken and written English
