Quality & Launch Engineer

• Develop training plan to operator
• Develop preliminary Quality Process System (QPS) and job instruction sheets for training
• Identify and track problem parts and suppliers with the Supplier Technical Assistance (STA) Engineer
• Communicate incoming quality issues to the Plant Launch Manager and the affected area launch leaders
• Prepare incoming parts inspection reports and other quality data
• Resolve related issues with the plant Government Regulations Coordinator (GRC)
• Support all pre-production builds beginning with Tooling Trial (TT)
• Develop and implement a cost effective vendor equipment training program for the plant personnel
• Develop, implement and track a training budget that supports the strategic launch plan
• Determine internal and external funding sources to support the plant launch training efforts
• Develop and implement a strategic training plan to support the plant’s launch targets and objectives
• Assist the plant launch manager and the area leaders to develop and implement a robust launch plan and support project management as required
• Assist the plant launch manager to develop a preliminary training and staffing plan

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2 years technical work experience and troubleshooting in a Manufacturing / Experience in manufacturing engineering, Process Engineering, Production Supervision
• Fundamental working knowledge of Quality
• Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Demonstrated experience in accomplishing tasks and objectives.
