QS Manager (Foreigner)

Review contract documents on tender and advice on pitfalls & essential requirements.
Draw up payment terms for subcontractors and suppliers.
Arrange performance bonds and insurances with finance department.
Assist tender manager in preparing of project checklist and budget.
Monitoring of QS in managing monthly progress claims and finalization of accounts with clients and subcontractors.
Handle all disputes, assist solicitors and claim consultant on all litigation/arbitration progress.
Assist in documenting project status, especially delays/extension of time.
Execute contact administration works, material specification approval from consultants and variation claims.
Assist in tendering projects.
Review the contracts and costing of projects by the Business Units with all consultants, subcontractors and related sub-contractors.
Evaluating and monitoring of work progresses, negotiating for contractual variance claims.
Establish and implement project plans, enforce project standards and manage project budgets and resources through efficient and effective project management to achieve an improving of all budgeted profits of all projects undertaken.
Establish construction phase budgets, preparing periodic reports for top management

University Graduate in Quantity Surveying or Building Science or Project/Construction Management or equivalent (curriculum must cover construction law and building costs management)
6 year experience in contract administration and related works
English – Good Spoken and Written;
Good understanding of local development, material and other related costs; local construction laws and regulations, related tax provisions;
Familiar with FIDIC Contract
