QS Engineer

Working location: Lot I2, D1 street, Sai Gon High- Tech Park, District 9, HCMC

The incumbent will be generally responsible for providing the project status, material costing, liaise with site Engineer and sub-contractor to make sure project undergo smoothly; The incumbent must have a thorough understanding of project contract requirements
 Ensure that the budget project costs are broken down into appropriate Work Breakdown Structure line items;
 Ensure that the budgets are controlled before the cost commitments are made, and the commitments are tracked once they are made;
 Ensure the mechanical units, electrical units and IT units are matches to the drawing units and quotation providing by subcontractor before submit quotation to the client.
 In charge BOM:
 Materials purchase request
 Specification validation
 Stock checking
 Delivery of materials from site to site.
 BOQ generation
 Linewalk for BOQ verification
 Ensure that the procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning schedules are done in enough detail and that dates for engineering deliverables, materials and subcontract services are clearly established.
 Ensure that the engineering deliverables register is maintained with the plan, forecast and actual dates for various milestones;
 Attending internal and external meeting, including Design review meeting, OAC Meeting
 Any other job as assigned by Project Manager

Education:
 Degree (Electrical / Mechanical / Process) in the same discipline and above
Working Experience:
 At least 2 years experience in project supervision and site installation
Technical & Professional Knowledge:
 Possess site experience / exposure
 Proficient in Microsoft Word and excel (intermediate level)
Special Requirements:
 Be able to work flexible hours; work with tight schedules
 Strong commitment and passion in delivering results
 Able to liaise effectively with client, authorities, contractors and team of consultants.
