QHSE Manager

• Responsible for the development and standardization of the quality management systems in support of the Department heads in the implementation across all work areas (head office, branch offices and project sites)
• Provide advisory support and assistance to managers and directors regarding the implementation of Archetype Group HSE & QA/QC systems, procedures and standards.
• Research and ensure Archetype Group standards and procedures meet international best practice standards.
• Make recommendations to directors and managers regarding QA/QC improvements on their divisions or departments.
• Responsible for the application of HSE & QA/QC standards across a country or region.
• Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues
• Monitor all operations that affect quality
• Establish and implement standardized HSE & QA/QC reporting practices and procedures.
• Supervise and guide inspectors, engineers and other staff
• Assure the reliability and consistency by checking and evaluating processes.
• Audit the work of divisions and departments to ensure compliance with Archetype Group standards and procedures, and provide advice, mentoring and training to those employees on improvement.
• Write, maintain and update the QA/QC manual, procedures, forms and templates and ensure that it is properly adapted and implemented at all Archetype Group entities.
• Work with Certification Body for ISO certification/ audit & maintain the QMS effectiveness; assist annual audits from the Body.
• Awareness Training for employees in the region about quality management system according to ISO 9001.
• Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied.
• Ensure customer complaints to be solved systematically through customer complaint management system.
• Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
• Review current standards and policies
• Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation
• Ensure all legal standards are met
• Communicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections
• Report all non-conformities and findings to management to ensure immediate action.

• Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or QHSE Manager
• Degree qualifications in BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field with an understanding of Engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
• Certification in quality assurance is a strong advantage (ISO 9001 etc.) is a definite advantage.
• Years of Experience: Manager: a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction site-based QA/QC management, with a minimum of 5 years experience in systems establishment and implementation across multiple sites
• Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement for this role.
• Willing to oversee travel
