QC Engineer - Kỹ Sư Kiểm Soát Chất Lượng (Electrical Background)

1. Project;
Design & Construction Project for all E&M System (Rolling Stock, Signaling, Telecommunication, Power Supply, OCS, Track work, PSD, AFC, Depot & Workshop Equipment, F-SCADA, Signage & Graphics) for New MRT Line-1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

2. Job Description;
(i) Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, to carry out & implement site QC role during construction covering pre-works preparation inspection, quality monitoring, post-works & finishing inspection and handing over inspection.
(ii) To be in charge and responsible for inspection regarding Electrical works, particularly on Power supply, Overhead Contact Systems, cabling or other electrical subsystem schemes.
(iii) To be in charge and responsible for monitoring Electrical works and taking-over inspections from Subcontractor, ensuring Quality, priorities and sequences for products/services are in order to meet Quality requirements
(iv) To control, monitor & ensure the required tolerances and Quality as per project valid requirements.
(v) To perform and conduct the test and inspection on incoming material and equipment as well as to perform frequency and routine test and inspections according to Procedures, Work Instructions and Quality requirements,
(vi) To be responsible for preparing and delivery in time all documentation related with inspections and tests performed, accordingly with Quality requirements and the QC system,
(vii) To analyze and review QC records, data, calibration and accreditation certificates, including those traceability and keep them up to date accordingly with the Quality requirements and the implemented QC System,
(viii) To analyze and review Test Results and Test Reports performed by suppliers/ subcontractors,
(ix) Prepare the audit report and NCR/CAR if necessary, and report to Lead Auditor,
(x) To be in charge in and prepare the QA/QC documents including Inspection Test Plan (ITP), inspection check list, handover plan and other QC related documents.
(xi) Interfacing with sub system for the preparation/review process of the related document in item x

(xii) All other duties as assigned to this position from QC manager

3. Requirements:
i) Gender : Male / Female
ii) Very Good English (both written and spoken) skills and communication skills
iii) Computer Skills: MS Office - Good MS Excel and MS Access are a plus, AutoCAD …
iv) Construction Supervision Level 1 License (mandatory)
v) Experiences :
- Have Level 1 Construction Supervision Practicing License.
- At least 5 years of experience in QC for construction projects, role as QC Engineer as general – Preferred,
- At least 5 years of experience in construction with a minimum of 3 years as QC Engineer and 2 years as Site Engineer,
- Experience in construction QC, particularly pre-work & post-work inspection, monitoring works, finishing works & handing over,
- Experience on electrical grid related works, particularly on Overhead lines, cabling, substations or other electrical subsystem schemes,
- Experience in large construction projects is a plus
- Experience in railway project is preferred,
vi) University Degree, Bachelor Degree, major in Electrical Engineering, preferably graduated from HCMC University of Technology
vii) Good report and letter writing, communication and presentation skills.
viii) Have a flexible approach to work with proven track record of prioritizing and managing challenging workloads,
ix) Be team player with good interpersonal skills on a multicultural environment,
x) Be able to work independently, to meet tight deadlines and taking challenges in a dynamic environment.
xi) Team leading experience,
xii) Organized, Responsible, Proactive and able to pay attention to details.

7. Working time: Mon-Sat, 08h30 – 17h30 (OT / night shift may be required)
