QC Buyer (Garment Field - US Branch)

*Supervise and check the quality control process:
- Represent GFC in Vietnam to work with suppliers on the production quality issues.
- Check all the pre-production samples quality and workmanship, to ensure the details and construction is corrected before send out for approval
- Supervise the quality control process in factories of suppliers to make sure that GFC’ quality insurance policy is implemented, i.e responsible for both pre-final inspection (before carton packing) and OCR inspection (inspection packing quality/quantity before shipment)

*Supervise packing process:
- Guide and supervise the factory in applying packing instructions in the packing process to ensure the factory follows strictly packing requirements from GFC"

- Coordinate special actions in regard to quality check to improve overall product quality in bulk shipments
- Apply a strict procedure and process for brand production and control
- Submit/send the findings, reports, documents on time and communicate to GFC and suppliers as required
- Follow up and coordinate with supplier/factory to trouble shoot and resolve the quality issues related to the orders.

*Supervise & support Logistics:
- Follow up the ETD/Delivery schedule and check the loading to make sure that suppliers to be on time and follow the loading instructions
- Assist GFC team in coordinating with Customs procedure (if any)"

*Enhance communications between GFC & Suppliers:
- Promote and enhance communication between suppliers/factories and GFC in diversity ways and channels.
- Participate in frequently online meetings related to production progress and quality with GFC team"

Performing other jobs according to the assignment of management

*RIGHTS:

Decide on whether the products are meet the quality requirement or not.
Ask suppliers to review and troble shoot their production process to ensure the final products quality

Signing and approving documents to work with the factory related to quality issues: meeting minutes related to production, minutes of the first line, in line, Prefinal or final, ...

*KNOWLEDGE:

_High school/Tertiary/Diploma/Degree holder or equivalent, studied in engineering/textile/ clothing related will be an advantage.
_Master in technical knowledge of textile
_Understand the standards, quality requirements of the company"
_Understand international and teritorial culture

_Proficient in sewing techniques, product creation
_Proficient in garment products testing, analyz the causes of errors and design solutions
_Proficient in reading technical documents, skills in using office computing.

*EXPERIENCE:

More than 5 years relevant garment factory manufacturing experience in managerial level and with at least 3 years at similar position.

English and Vietnamese - fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing
