QA Manager

This position QA Manager will oversee the management of the Quality Assurance department and staff nation wide, and will develop, implement and monitor company policies and procedures as related to Food Safety, Food Security, and Quality Assurance programs.

Your main duties and responsibilities are:
1. Continuously evaluate and further develop the company’s quality systems, and submit change recommendations to the management
2. Oversee and implement safety programs (i.e. food safety, sanitation programs, HACCP and GMPs) at all locations (Da Ron packing facility, HCMC and Ha Noi Distribution centers) and production standards (i.e. GlobalGAP, VietGAP and Private GAP’s)
3. Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, training, delegation of duties, disciplinary actions and annual reviews of the Quality Assurance Department nation wide.
4. Facilitate all internal, second, third and regulatory agency auditing and facility inspections.
5. Maintain and improve compliance with company and customer finished product specs, special handling procedures, and production monitoring programs.
6. Implement site specific protocols and procedures, referencing the Company’s Quality Systems Manual
7. Interact with customers on product development and problem solving projects.
8. Prepare periodic reports for the BOM.
9. Interface with the General Director/Operations Manager/Sourcing and Technical Managers for Quality Assurance issues, and establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Standard Sanitation Operations (SSOP's) and Preventive Maintenance programs.
10. Liaison between internal operations, sales and customers related to any food safety, quality and food security inquires.
11. Coordinate and manage the Pest Control program, verification of services, maps, applicator license, and chemical usage among others.

Minimum Educational Requirement:
- A BSc. in Agronomy, Food Technology or Plant Science with knowledge of post-harvest handling, supply chain management and quality assurance of agriculture products.
- Minimum Experience Required:
- Must have at least 3-5 years previous work experience in similar position.
