QA Manager

Quality Strategy planning & management
- Reinforce & maintain Schaeffler Vietnam Quality strategy 5 year plan in line with Regional & Business Unit Quality counterparts
- Prepare for and carry out monthly Quality Meeting with Schaeffler Vietnam management
- Establish a training plan for Quality systems & methods and ensure training is conducted with relevant personnel
- Lead the QA team in Vietnam and proactively influence the overall organization to maintain the Quality focus
- Utilize KPIs and statistics to drive focus and improvement on Total Quality performance
- Drive Quality cost savings within the Schaeffler Vietnam operations
- Prepare the yearly QA budget, QA investments and personnel requirements and prepare to adjust accordingly

Q system and Auditing
- Audits preparation and accomplish internal audit
- Analyze weaknesses of Q-system
- Improve Q system according to the found weaknesses
- Plan, organize and conduct shop floor employee training on Quality topics
- Ensure quality standards in the production applying regular product and process audits

Quality programs & tools (Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D, SPC)
- Satisfy customer requirement ("SPC", "CPK";”Cmk” – process efficiency)
- Lead the “Fit for Quality” Program
- Introduce new quality tools if needed
- Lead Six Sigma projects

Product development Quality (PEP)
- Work closely with the project team to ensure quality focus

Supplier Quality and APQP
- Complaint-handling, analysis, measures introduction
- Maintain incoming inspection plan
- Develop local supplier in cooperation with Supplier Development Department and Purchasing

Customer complaint management
- React fast and appropriate to customer complaints e.g. 8D report, communication to customer
- Conduct root cause analysis in cooperation with the production e.g. 5-Why questions
- Implement countermeasures and ensure FMEA update

Production quality
- Performance evaluation & analysis
- Compile a machine-efficiency inspection
- Place different order (inspection equipment, device etc.)
- Advise measuring adjustment and ensure suitable measuring equipment
- Ensure scrap area is organized and scrapping process is followed

- Technical Background – Mechanical Engineering is most preferable
- Quality Degree / Qualification
- 12+ year- experience in QA and production
- 5+ years Managerial Experience working with Multi-National Company with manufacturing in Vietnam
- Bilingual: Vietnamese (mother tongue), English (Professional), German (basics an advantage)
- Experience in QS-technology, test engineering, quality assurance system, leadership, handling of customer complaints
- Experience in several bearing-related Manufacturing technologies (forging, casting, turning, heat-treatment, grinding & honing, assembly)
- Experience with OEM customers and local Suppliers
- Experience in measuring instruments, SPC, SWOT- Analysis
- PC-knowledge (table sheets, graphic, text processing, statistic)
- Strong experience in FMEA
- Strong experience in Q-Systems implementation / maintenance (ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
- Nice to Have: Six Sigma Black/Green Belt, Lean Management methods (e.g. Value Stream Analysis/ Value Stream Design, FIFO principle)
