QA Manager

✓ PURPOSE
• Manage QA at plant level.
• Ensure the plant to comply with local/ KO requirements in Qualityand Food Safety.
✓ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and maintain the QA systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22001, FFSC 22000 ….) to ensure the plant compliance with the system.
• Manage quality products by:
- Updating KORE and implementing the requirements.
- Facilitation the investigation of deviations and be proactive to implement corrective action.
- Ensuring lab efficiency and good lab practices.
- Maintaining focus on bottling operation and critical areas on production lines.
- Compliance in trend analysis and quality Reports.
• Ensure effective Consumer Response program by:
- Ensure programis in place.
- Ensure competent staff is in place to deal with consumer response.
- Report serious issues as per laid down procedure and escalation protocolsas per IMCR program.
- Do trend analyses of complaints and report to stakeholders.
- Ensure market and fountain surveys are done.
• Driven Continuous Improvement Initiatives and ensure all QA issues have been considered and included into capex projects.
• Manage & Develop staffby:
- Managing staff performance.
- Developing people through programs such as: skill development, technical training, People Plan, Coaching and Mentoring,etc…
- Recruiting,selecting and staff retention.
• Managed cost by:
- Formulate activity-based budget.
- Manage budget through RE process.
- Monitor& manageCOE (budgetcontrol).
- Ensure capex budget submitted and managed.
- Other tasks areas signed by Direct Line Manager.

- Bachelor’s degree in science(BSc) or Food sciences.
- At least 5 working years of experiencece in manufacturing as QEOSH role in management level.
- Problem solving/ Trouble shooting skill.
- Good communication skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Applicable local legal knowledge.
- System implementation skill.
- Business acumen.
- Negotiation skill.
