QA Inspector ( Footwear ) – 6 Months Contract

Party A authorizes party B to act on the party A’s behalf to do thing, act and carry out quality assurance tasks as instructed by party A from time to time, including but not limited to participating pre-production meetings, conducting on site at production plant, checking the quality of finished product, training the Quality Assurance staff of party A and its associates, communicating and maintaining a good relationship with the manufactures for quality assurance and also assuring quality by taking preventative actions, checking and monitoring for the purpose of enhancing satisfactory quality standard required by party A

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish controls to ensure Salesman samples, Approval samples, and Pre-production samples are obtained on time and meet all specifications.
- Set up proper approval reporting / tracking system for all the samples.
- Samples evaluation.
- Operating of Computer Marketing, Paper Pattern Grading and Fitting Evaluation.
- Monitoring productions closely and provide technical support when need to ensure quality meets specifications and that there is no quality claim.
- Problem shooting.
- Conduct Statistic audit.
- Fill out inspection report in every production stage.
- Obtain accurate information from merchandisers.
- Ensure all vendors follow VF’s Term of Engagement, Vendor Code of Conduct and other rules and regulations.
- Communicating proactively, effectively and as often as necessary with all personnel in the QA and Merchandising Team.
- Follow-up on all production and keep merchandising team informed the progress.
- Review all shipment samples and comment if any to ensure our QA often keep good quality of work.
- Developed methods , Technical support and procedures to reduce manufacturing costs and/or improve quality levels & production efficiency.
- To establish a good relationship with factory to facilitate problem solving and effective.
