QA Cum Branch Manager ( Location: Quy Nhon)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

- Read and fully understand the customers’ requirements on quality management system/process control/product quality standard so that the internal audits/verification can be performed properly
- Lead the process of product risk assessment in Contract Manufacturing (CM) Production for any new designs.
- Participate in product quality review meeting with customers when needed
- Ensure pre-SOP readiness for the success of new products in CM production.
- Lead CAPA projects including preparation, follow-up, implementation, verification process
- Lead development of the Quality Plan for strategic products/customers
- Conduct the quality management audits at CMs - link actual performance, habits with the approved procedures/work instructions.
- Facilitate and maintain records of all internal and external communications relevant to assigned projects including meeting minutes
- Monitor and present project quality performance at periodic project review meetings
- Plan and participate in customer on-site audits
- Prepare Quality Assurance Plans, procedures or production work instructions that meets the company standard or specific customer requirements.
- Do training for QA staff in QMS and other QA standard/requirements
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with internal and external customers and Contract Manufacturers through effective and timely communication.
- Deploy the specifications to quality handbook to QA CM staffs and CMs, including the verification of those implementation.
- Work directly with CMs to solve daily quality issues.
- Do final inspection in case it is needed
- Propose the improvement actions for QA CM system to better secure the product quality.
- Prepare weekly, monthly report to ScanCom Group QA Senior Manager for assigned tasks
- Implement other works as requested by superior and commit to take actions with agreed timelines

Internal Relationship:

- Contact to all departments at ScanCom VietNam and ScanCom International in the company for cooperation and coordination about quality-related matters

External Relationship:

- Contact with third parties on quality matters
- Contact to Contract Manufacturers on technical and quality issues
- Contact to certification bodies

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Superior:

- Group QA Senior Manager.

Subordinate:

- QACM staff in Quy Nhon Branch ( 10 Final Inspectors)

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Graduated from University. Wood processing technology, Quality Assurance or Technical field id prefer
- At least 05 years of experience in Quality Management in manufacturing is a MUST.
- Candidates with experience in furniture manufacturing is a plus.
- Working knowledge of DFMEA and PFMEA principles
- Working knowledge of 8D Problem Solving, SPC
- Able to read, write, speak, understand and satisfactorily communicate with others in English in person, over the phone and via email
- Excellent knowledge MS office package, in particular Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point Presentation.

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

- Working full time in Quy Nhon City – Binh Dinh
- Working Place: Quy Nhon office, No 1A, Phan Chu Trinh Street, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh.
- Visit CMs by company car
- Willing to work overtime or on Saturday, Sunday (if the job requires).
