Purchasing Officer

Department: Purchasing
Direct Supervisor: Purchasing Manager / General Manager

* Summary of Position, Responsibility and Authority
Primary job function is to be responsible for processing ordering goods/ furniture, following-up the order status until delivery and coordinating the handover with the departments.

* Responsibilities
1. Identifies and researches potential new suppliers.
2. Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable prices.
3. Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
4. Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company and best guarantee services for customer.
5. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries time.
6. Checking and controlling quality of products upon ordering & receiving.
7. Other duties as assigned.

1. Excellent written and communication skills.
2. Fluent in English.
3. Superior organizational skills.
4. Good negotiator, with prior sales experience preferred.
5. Bachelor degree in Sales or Business administration.
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
