Purchasing Officer

• Working closely with material SOURCING department.
• Cross check the quotations received from Sourcing team against the calculated cost from costing department.
• Receives and screens the Purchase Request from ERP.
• Check the actual stock in warehouse before raising a PO to the supplier.
• Negotiate with suppliers for the unit price if required.
• Sending approved Purchase Orders to Suppliers and seeking schedule of delivery.
• Monitor pending Purchase Order delivery schedules and advise relevant departments of the status on a regular basis
• Request for transportation for transferring materials
• Coordinate with the factory regarding transfer of materials
• Mitigate issues that may occur and report to the Purchasing Manager if any deviation to the standard policies and procedure.
• Receives and screen any change request to a confirmed Purchase Order and facilitate the change.
• Facilitates the return or replacement of failed goods to Suppliers and Contractors.
• Facilitate re-ordering for any shortage or stock replenishment.
• Inform own Supplier on payment status.
• May source and develop materials from time to time.

• Good in English (Read, Write and Speak)
• Experienced in local or overseas purchasing/sourcing material for footwear.
• 3-5 years’ experience
• Sharp and well-organized
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Good Excel skills
• Experience in using ERP is appreciated
• Teamwork oriented
• Chinese speaker would be a advantage
