Functions:
1. Ensure an effective purchasing system to purchase material at competitive prices and delivery
2. Manage daily purchasing activities to meet company’s delivery and qualities objectives
3. Initiate cost reduction program for direct material costs at appropriate interval with Procurement group
4. Manage vendors through effective vendor management
Job requirements:
1. Work with Production Control on Purchase Requisition of Direct Materials.
2. With Supplier – Issue of PO, maintenance of promised date, expediting deliveries. Cancellation of POs. Supplier relationship management.
3. Interact and work with Procurement (Electronics and Mechanical) - Cost savings.
4. Work with Finance – Accounts Payable to suppliers.
5. Interact and work with Sales and Marketing – Price variance, materials status and support for customers’ requirements.
6. Work with IQC – parts / components quality issues.
7. Interact and work with Store – PO promised date, quantity discrepancy and related issues from suppliers

Recruitment requirements:
1. College degree or above in a related field or equivalent experience and training
2. Good communication skills and team-work awareness, strong sense of responsibility
3. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
4. Good in English speaking, listening, writing and reading
5. Working knowledge and experience with MS Office Disciplined, Honest and Integrity
1. College degree or above in a related field or equivalent experience and training
