Purchasing Executive

• Collects and maintain information of suppliers and their products/services.
• Receives, verify and purchase raw materials based on purchase requisition from factory in accordance with purchasing procedure and company’s policies.
• Sources best suppliers that meet the requirement based on categorize of evaluation form of company and ask quotations based on information requirement.
• Clarifies & conducts negotiation with qualified suppliers & discuss with PRS and SCM to find the best supplier / items by preparing the Purchase Order Quotation Summary.
• Prepares Purchase Order (PO) on system and / or make contract to the vendors / suppliers.
• Gives Purchase Order / Contract to PRS/SCM for review and get it approved from FC and Director.
• Sends Purchase Order / Contract to Suppliers and get their confirmation.
• Sends order information to concerned depts.
• Follows up order process on the delivery of the purchased materials and make sure that it meets the original specs and quality approved.
• Cooperates with related dept., production factory, to solve any issue occurred, contact suppliers for complaint or compensation if received materials are not met mentioned norms.
• Collects document requirement from warehouse and supplier after receiving materials.
• Makes payment request with all requested documents and send Finance dept.
• Makes weekly report about the status of materials to be ordered and delivered.
• Creates Purchase Order in ERP system for outsourcing fabrication project based on contract with fabrication subcontractor and BOM supplied by Customer Service dept. or Structure Project Manager.
• Collect the materials’ price from suppliers for tender projects purpose.
• Maintains the list of approved suppliers by evaluating suppliers initially and periodically based on evaluations reports received from concerned departments.

• University degree, preferably an engineer but any other discipline is acceptable based on the experience in the job.
• At least 2 years in purchasing.
• Have experience in construction materials or pre-engineering building is preferred.
• Proficient in English, good communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in using ERP system is preferable.
