WORKING LOCATION: Tuan Chau Marina, Tuan Chau Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province
CONDITIONS (hours etc): 8.00 am to 5.00 pm from Mon - Fri (44 hrs per week) and 8.00-12.00 Saturday
RESPONSIBILITY
Procurement, Inventory and Property Control
• Provide guidance and assistance to Branch Manager, Technical Manager and G.M of cruises in all aspects of technical, non-food purchasing for operation and offseason and new project.
• Ensure purchase is in accordance with regulatory requirements and HL policy.
• Control inventory/purchase request/ purchase orders of technical and non food goods in terms of quantity, quality and prices and delivery date.
• Update prices to Purchasing Manager & BOD if prices changes
• Source the availability and standards of items that require procurement
• Assess suppliers for new item to be purchased
• Make recommendations to senior management to develop purchasing procedure if any
• Prepare and maintain records and documentation on quote, purchase requests, purchase orders, contracts.
• Meet suppliers to improve levels of service and to develop new sources of supply.
• Collect and report statistics to measure quality of goods and/or supplier performance.
• Coordinates and resolves problems with end user departments and suppliers.
• Follow supplier’s payment with Accounts Payable and assist in resolving invoice discrepancies and variances.
• Assist Storekeeper with discrepancies and variances of goods delivered.
• Perform other tasks assigned by senior management.

INDIRECTLY REPORTING TO Ha Long Branch Manager /Owner’s Rep./DOO

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Tertiary studies in Trade or Business
• Knowledge of marine technical business preferable.
• Knowledge of purchasing procedure, practices.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 02 years working experience
• Purchasing experience essential (in a similar role and industry preferable)
SKILLS
• Good – Written and spoken Vietnamese
• Good – Written and spoken English
• Good – Communication and interpersonal skills
• Good - MS Office
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Flexibility to work overtime and holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure
• High level of confidentiality as handling purchasing and financial information.
