Purchasing Executive (Direct or Indirect)

* Key Related Activities:

Direct Purchase:
• Create Purchase Orders (PO) from SAP then send to specific suppliers based on Material Requirement Planning
• Follow Production Planning from SAP then request punctual deliveries from suppliers
• Update actual delivery dates of materials for Production Planning to schedule production on time
• Coordinate with Production and Planning Department & Warehouse to optimize deliveries for evasion of high inventory
• Support Account Payable in solving invoice discrepancies of prices & quantity delivered
• Measure performance of Suppliers by specific Purchasing KPIs (On Time Delivery, Payment Term, Supplier PPM…) to find areas of improvement, consult with Supervisor and Manager in order to improve supplier performance and increase Service Level of BVN

Indirect Purchase:
• Assistant directly to Superior on sourcing activities, included scouting potential supplier, collecting information, doing supplier pre-assessment, homologation, negotiation, price comparison, market research on raw material, follow up project of new item development, etc.
• Manage sourcing project by detail activities with timeline approved by company superior to adapt cost saving objective of team and company.
• Manage contract with supplier in term of development new tool, fixture, jig, with agreed provisions/conditions.
• Working externally with supplier, and internally with Quality/Engineering team for sample process, match standard specification/drawing, follow correctly company procedure.
• Assist direct manager to develop and implement sourcing strategies to be aligned with global team, to meet requirements of operation in assurance of supply, quality, service, cost saving, innovation and regulatory compliances.

*Specialized and Technical Knowledge:
• University Graduate, Mechanical is prefered
• Good knowledge of Foreign Trade and commercial practices
• Able to use Microsoft Office, experience in using SAP/ERP is a plus
• Able to communicate in English
• 3-years experiences in purchasing area.

* Management Tools:
- MS Office. (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- ERP system (SAP)

* Preferred Experience:
- Experience in working in mechanical engineering, mechanical designer
