Purchasing And Import Officer

- Consolidate the sales forecast and estimate the purchasing needs base on stock situation and forecasts.
- Arrange orders to suppliers based on the confirmed purchasing order.
- Receive, check and classify the documentation related to every shipment.
- Register the shipments to the relevant government bodies and comply with their requirements.
- Arrange, with our logistic partners, the import process and local logistic to our warehouses.
- Coordinate with the agent for import process; make sure all dossiers are complete compliants.
- Coordinate with the relevant labs to test the products after receiving the shipments
- Follow up on the certificate of analysis for each shipment to clearance.
- Ensure that all regulatory requirements are fulfilled for imported products (product registration, labels…).
- Supervise the Quality Control at importation and being in charge of issuing and following up the potential claims.
- Update regularly the changes of new policy on the importation of the the relevant product groups.

- Graduated from University or College with a major in International logistic.
- Some experience in drafting purchasing contracts will be a plus.
- Having knowledge in import/export procedures.
- Able to communicate in English (written and spoken).
- Being thorough and meticulous are two important qualities for this job
