Project Planning Manager

A. GENERAL JOB FUNCTION
 Accountable for all activities in planning for Technical Planning for Wood (TD-W), Technical Planning for Metal (TD-M), DWG and sample/prototype/ counter sample orders.

B. RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & AUTHORITIES:
o To receive the input, plan and monitor TD-W, TD-M capacity & their production to ensure the Product Finish Date (PFD).
o To ensure the effective discussion (including the production bottle neck, TD-W, TD-M material, capacity and overtime) is had together with Production Prepairation Dept Wood (PPD-W) and Production Prepairation Dept Metal (PPD-M) workshops and TD-W, TD-M management team in order to confim a PDF
o To communicate effectively and quickly to TD-W + TD-M and internal customers, with solutions & suitable action to keep comminted PFD.
o Ensure all prototypes finished in time and deliver finished products (with hang tag) to right address (Sample Distribution Center/ Test Center/ showroom).
o Daily post movement for finished products to all relevant parties
o Attend all the meetings for developing and approving new items
o KPI: Data collection on a daily basis to update various departments on the current status
o Check and control the budget for samples, prototypes
o Report making for several departments on the current status
o TD-W output: monthly report to Top Management (TMP)
o TD-M output: monthly report to Top Management (TMP)
o Component, stock and hardware list to be maintained and communicated
o Monthly Sample budget report – feedback to TMG
o Understand and comply with the product development and sample budget

C. WORKING RELATIONSHIP
1. Internal:
 Working closely to TD-W, TD-M and PPD-W, PPD-M in planning for counter samples, samples and product development
 Working with the Senior Project Manager for priortisation, stock and outlook for all on a daily basis

2. External: None

3. Reporting:
3.1 Superior: Senior Project Manger
3.2. Subordinate: 03 Project Planning Supervisors

D. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

• University Degree, major in Engineering, Industrial Management or Economics field
• At least 08 years’ experience in a project planning role at a manufacturing company
• At least 05 years in planning management level
• Experienced in ERP, SAP or similar system and monthly reporting
• Strong skills within excel, specializing in pivot tables, multiple sheets and reports
• Excellent communication in English and superb time management
• Proactive attitude with the ability to follow-up easily and efficiently
• Problem solving and solution providing skills
• Strong communication and proactive, dynamic attitude
• Has the ability to plan ahead and think of the bigger picture
