Project Officer (PO)

* Job Summary:
CSIP is currently searching for a Project Officer (PO) to join our team and continue to build social entrepreneurship sector in Vietnam. S(he) will take a proactive role in implementing social businesses acceleration projects and is expected to show strong commitment to social entrepreneurship development.

* Workplace:
Term: Hanoi, with domestic travels
1 year (renewable)
Reports to: Program Manager
Supervises: Project Assistant
Relates to: CSIP team, donors, local partners, community, policy markers

* Objectives of this Position:
Under the supervision of Program Manager and with supports from CSIP’s project team, the Project Officer will be responsible for the implementation of social businesses acceleration projects to assure successful delivery of projects’ objectives.
* Key Duties
- Lead the team to develop the project’s annual, quarterly and monthly work-plan and budget.
- Coordinate the project team, technical partners, and local partners; mobilise other resources to successfully and timely achieve the project expected outputs, outcomes.
- Promote the project in the working areas, engage local partners, policy makers, potential enterprises/business initiatives and supporters in the project implementation.
- Work with the project team and consultants to design and deliver (selected) business development support services, including but not limited to: mapping and screening, conducting organisation capacity assessment (OCA); coordinating local experts to provide various training and business coaching; facilitating social innovation workshops and activities.
- Responsible for the project monitoring, the project’s progress and financial reports
- Ensure a close, clear and adequate communication with the project team and the project’s stakeholders.
- Build a trustful and effective partnership between CSIP and local partners in working areas.
- Take other responsibility as request by CEO and Program Manager.

Requirements:
• Strong desire to use his/her own professional expertise to support enterprises/business initiatives to create positive social and environmental impact
• BA Degree is required, master degree on business administration is preferable
• At least 3 year experience in similar positions. Experienced working with provincial authorities and organizations is an advantage.
• Capacity to search/obtain, analyze and utilize adequate social, financial, human and intellectual resources for the project implementation.
• Excellent skills in project management, including project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
• Show a strong commitment and passion to social innovation and social entrepreneurship development.
• Be a quick learner. Obtain basic understanding on social innovation and social enterprise.
• Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English.
• Respect the work ethics, hard-working, self-discipline and work professionally
• Understand the team dynamic and be a good team player.
