Job Responsibilities
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM
Tackling Modern Slavery in Vietnam project is funded by the UK Home Office and implemented by a consortium composed of International Organisation of Migration, British Council and World Vision. International Organisation for Migration (IOM) is the consortium lead.
The Project is expected to achieve the following three broad impact areas: 1) Preventing vulnerable populations from becoming victims, 2) Strengthening the judicial response to human trafficking and 3) Supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration of victims of trafficking.
As the Project Manager, you will need to:
- ensure successful delivery and management of the Tackling Modern Slavery from Vietnam Project, funded by the Home Office, in compliance with Home Office and the British Council’s requirements.
- oversee financial management to ensure sound client and programme financial planning, management and reporting is in place, and ensure the risks are identified, logged, managed and reported internally and externally in a timely manner and to British Council project management standards, in close liaison with the Team Leader.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- minimum five years of relevant work experience in project management including line management and external representation
- experience of managing partners and sub-contractors in delivering programme objectives and activities.
- a recognized degree-level qualification in social science or relevant working experience.
