Project Manager

Project Manager will manage the development of projects through all procurement steps: from sourcing, quotation, tooling development, delivery of tool sample, approval phase, production, on time delivery and quality control. The project manager will keep good relationship with supplier and find new ones.

Implement and follow the progress of different projects;
• Manage all activities related to the development and the start of production of new products and ensure to keep projects within deadlines;
• Support the existing product line and propose improvements;
• Collaborate with management on the feasibility study of a project and plan the realization thereof;
• Provide technical support for the suppliers;
• Develop and monitor the technical assessment of products under development;
• Apply project management concepts and product development processes every day in the development of new products;
• Assist in analyzing and solving various problems in product design.
• Cooperate with current and new supplier factories in order to assess their manufacturing capabilities, organization and quality process and liaise with them for corrective action whenever improvements are required;
• Coordinate with the engineering team in Canada;
• Sourcing new suppliers, evaluate their potential and if chosen, develop them and implement projects with them;
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on time deliveries of all parts produced at suppliers and if problems found, explore every options to make deliveries happen;
• Analyze every customer and supplier production quality problems, use quality tools to find root cause and find the best solution to prevent any reoccurrence of these problems;
• Help supplier implement the best practices to reach a world-class level of production, quality and cost reduction initiatives.

* Educational requirements:
Engineering Bachelor’s degree

* Work experience requirements:
5 years of work experience in project management and product development.

* Specific knowledge:
The chosen candidate must be fluent in English. The candidate must have knowledge about negotiation; procurement; ability to read drawings 2D/3D and problem solving.

* Quality and attitude requirements:
This position requires good communication and negotiation skills. The position requires team spirit, autonomous attitude and sense of initiative;
