Project Manager - Infrastructure

Mission

The position is responsible for the management of concurrent projects for Central Retail Vietnam Information and Communication Technology (ICT), from start to successful completion using project management best practices and framework. The range of projects includes software/system implementation and development, infrastructure and network development, application and other related ICT projects.

The position will require:

- The engagement of project champions, sponsors and stakeholders;
- Business requirements gathering, analysis, planning, implementing and documenting;
- Regular progress reports to the manager of the Project Management Office;

Activities

1. Function: Project Management

- Manage projects approved by the IT Director and Planning and Reference Group;
- Prioritize projects based on Central Retail Business Plan;
- Assign and monitor the Projects assign to different Project Managers;
- Perform gap analysis and feasibility studies for technology solutions required or proposed for use by the CRV;
- Ensure strict practices of version and change control are maintained for all systems, giving special focus to systems security;
- Ensure delivery of projects within allocated budgets and timelines;
- Ensure all projects are transition to operations with proper reference documents, knowledge transfer and smooth operation;
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party for eventual updates and new features implementation. Follow-up with End-users to ensure the project is endorsed and properly use based on requirements;
- Evaluate new technologies for their suitability and benefits for use in the CRV;
- Any other duties as required and assigned by IT Director and Reference Group;

2. Function: People & Partner & Performance and Quality

- Effectively working in High Matrix Organization and Complex org chart and Complex Project;
- Be an ambassador for Project, working across the business to provide effective communication on IT matters and build relationships with other teams to ensure effective dialogue between departments;
- Capable of communicating complex security, technical topics to a wide variety of audiences. Ability to influence key stakeholders and senior management;
- Make recommendations for Process & Procedure Improvement and ensure actions are followed through to completion in a timely manner;
- Work with internal and third-party teams to ensure actions are taken and completed on time meet Business requirement;

- Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Communications or other related field;
- Fluent English with Intermediate level at least;
- At least 5 years experience in managing IT Projects;
- Extensive experience with internal and external stakeholder management;
- Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous IT projects;
- Extensive project management experience;
- Demonstrated vendor management experience;
- Demonstrated experience in successfully developing and delivering affordable IT solutions;
- Demonstrated knowledge of current systems and methodologies, including management and understanding of Internet systems and Security issues in a large corporate environment;
- Experience of data networking and Internet infrastructures;
- Proven capacity to work under stress and to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment;
