• Assemble accurate and well organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner for lump sum price, Design-Build and Construction/Project Management formatted projects
• Organize sub-contractors quotations, negotiate to insure quotes meet contract documents and issue proper documented purchase orders
• Complete Budgeting and Scheduling for projects and track same. Monitor progress, requisition change orders and identify any potential risks
• Promote and continually improve on company’s commitment to zero incidents to our people, the environment and the communities in which we operate

• Analyse drawings and specifications
• Understand contractual terms and conditions
• Evaluate from first principles and or norms project costs and risk for mechanical, electrical and communications works, inclusive of civil interfaces
• Identify and quantify cost and risk factors for direct and indirect project costs
• Formulate cost breakdown from estimates and for project progress.
• Collaborate with project managers, quantity surveyors, engineers, architects, owners, and sub-contractors, delegating as necessary
• Discuss and review methodologies to ensure cost effective project solutions
• Support all tender requirements including input into schedule, program, subcontractors and suppliers
• Complete tenders on time for review and approval prior to submission, make amendments where applicable utilising client feedback
• Build and maintain a set of estimating norms, unit pricing and database for material and labor costing
• Meet with clients on an ongoing basis to determine progress of current tenders and to discuss options for other proposed services
