Project Engineer - Airnet

JOB DESCRIPTION:
AIRnet is compressed air piping solution from Atlas Copco. AIRnet business is been developed substantially and we are looking for AIRnet Installation engineer who will join Atlas Copco Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Compressor Technique team and reporting to Business Development Manager-AIRnet
Job Description
• Provide day to day support to the field in terms of
o Design and piping calculation
o Parts selection and piping calculation
o Follow up of the orders and the logistics process
• Pre order
o Conduct site surveys & prepare project proposal
o Create layout and co-ordinate with AIRnet Business Development Manager (BDM) for scope of work
o Outsource contractor for installation in coordination with AIRnet BDM
o Lead project bidding to contractors
o Evaluate contractors’ quotations for completeness of scope and accuracy of estimates on time, manpower, tools, equipment & cost;
• Project order / purchase
o Raise contract and LPR to selected contractor for installation works
 Make sure scope of work stated in the contract is followed by contractor
o Planning, control activities & co-ordinate with customer and contractor for project schedule
 Mobilization of contractor
 Delivery of required AIRnet material to customer site
 Coordination with Compressor Technique Service Operations team for commissioning / startup of Atlas Copco equipment to be connected with the AIRnet installation
 Attend project update meetings, weekly/daily depends on project requirement.
 Supervising AIRnet installation work by contractor making sure installation is done as per our Atlas Copco instructions, including all safety aspects.
 Witness Pressure testing and preparation of commissioning and handover report.
• Post order
o Provide project update completion
o Signature of COC
o Co-ordinate any punch lists
o Co-ordinate pull out of any excess AIRnet materials
o Co-ordinate contractor’s COC to Atlas Copco

• Training
o Provide training to contractor / distributors / cts service engineers on
 AIRnet installation procedures
 Proper usage and operation
 Maintenance requirements
 Other technical support on the AIRnet product range

• Experience Required:
o Minimum 1 to 2-year industrial experience. Hands on AutoCAD, piping software is plus.
o Knowledge of hydraulic calculations, pressure drop calculations.
• Knowledge
o Hands on AutoCAD, piping software is plus.
o Project management.
o Computer literate & working knowledge with database related software
o Knowledge of Customer service principle & practices.
• Educational Requirement:
o University degree in mechanical engineering from reputed college with good academics or equivalent.
• Personality requirement
o Good interpersonal skills
o Vietnamese expected at least average English is must.
o Ability to understand customer needs, project management and should be able to provide solutions.
o Should work in cost concision way as to complete project in assigned budget.
o Self-motivated and team player.
o Have stress tolerance and able to adapt to different environment.
