Project Director

1. Plan, monitor & coordinate with project consultants and contractors from inception to completion.
2. Oversee and monitor work progress of the ongoing project in accordance to works programme, contract and specification by providing regular project portfolio updates.
3. Selection, recommendation and appointment of project consultants and ensure project contracts are administered properly by consultants.
4. Oversee technical support on building works during and after the defect liability period according to project guidelines based on feedback from all sources including the project post occupancy review process.
5. Ensure a collaborative and joint problem-solving approach between Project Management, Design, and Cost & Contracts functions on day-to-day issues concerning quality, cost and time that arise during ongoing construction.
6. Liaison with authority for all submission and approval within timeframe for land matter, planning approval, building plan and occupation permit.
7. Maintain and strengthen the relationship of Project Management function with peer functions such as cost and contract, design, township, sales and marketing, customer service and finance department for product development and delivery of project to agreed schedule, within budget and company’s quality standard.
8. Manpower and resource planning, selection and recommend recruitment of staff, and conduct staff performance appraisal.
9. To lead, motivate and coach staff to ensure they function effectively and efficiently.

• Bachelor degree in Building / Civil Engineering
• Higher education i.e. master degree and member of professional board will be an added advantage
• A matured professional with minimum of 12-15 years in township, construction and property development industry.
• Solid project management experience with track record of success in delivering projects successfully.
• Experience in building a scalable, multi-project portfolio delivery model and contribution to growth of business.
• Familiar with multinational working environment
• Motivated and talented individual who is able to effectively communicate in English.
• Must have good understanding building regulation, construction technique and project implementation process.
• Possess efficient leadership and construction management skill.
• Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills, meticulous, confident, high analytical and problem solving skills.
• Organized, disciplined, self-driven and self-aware with a track record of integrity, commitment, courage and performance.
