Project Development Manager

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks

WIND PROJECT SPECIFIC
• Liaise with government and private stakeholders, including making presentations to private landowners to present wind project opportunities
• Obtain necessary provincial and municipal government approvals (permits and environmental assessments)
• Negotiate and execute land rights agreements with landowners and with authorities.
• Coordinate environmental assessment reporting
• Research and gather information from Government policies on wind projects
• Tracking of other renewable project developments, construction and operations in the market
• Frequently travel to project site locations

Working location: most of time in project locations (out of HCMC)

Education Requirements:
• University degree or Master’s Degree
• Major: Engineering, preferable Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical Engineer

Years of Experience Required:
• 2-3 years of project management experience (preferably in electricity, power, energy).

Essential Skills and Requirements:
• Proven working experience in project management
• Excellent external and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• English: Intermediate to advanced level
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
• Developing and Tracking Budgets

WIND PROJECT SPECIFIC
• Soft skills: Interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation
• Flexible, Open minded, adaptable, multitasking, teamplayer
• Supervision, coaching, staffing, planning
• Has good alcohol tolerance in case of business negotiation if required
• Knowledge and interest in Renewable Energies is a plus
• Knowhow on letter formatting to exchange with authorities
• Immediate availability is a plus
