Objective / Purpose of the Department:

Objective / Purpose of the Job:
- Coordinating Shipments and Communication between the various stakeholders including: FIS Vietnam / Geodis Vietnam / Geodis Thailand / trucking companies.
- Support FIS Vietnam for Customs / Certificates/Permits based on order list.
- Co-ordinate with Geodis Thailand team and trucking companies to follow the trucks from consolidation warehouse in Thailand to Lao Bao border for import customs clearance, and delivery to FIS Vietnam factory in Hai Phong.
- Monitoring the delivery/unloading at FIS Vietnam factory.
- Road Survey / Site survey.
- Update Control book with report to monitor shipments exactly and daily

Key Activities / Accountabilities
Control Tower Function:
- Establish Vendor guidelines, SOP for communication, document verification, shipping coordination.
- Coordinating Shipments and Communication between the various stakeholders including: FIS Vietnam / Geodis Vietnam / Geodis Thailand / trucking companies.
- Keep tracking of trucks.
- Support FIS Vietnam for Customs / Certificates/Permits based on order list.
- Verification of Documentation for customs clearance accuracy/completeness.
- Road Survey / Site survey.
- Co-ordinate with Geodis Thailand team and trucking companies to follow the trucks from consolidation warehouse in Thailand to Lao Bao border for import customs clearance, and delivery to FIS Vietnam factory in Hai Phong.
- Monitoring the delivery/unloading at FIS Vietnam factory.
- Do daily, weekly and monthly reports per request of FIS Vietnam.
- Proper and timely notification of a potential claim is crucial. When any loss or damage is observed, the Supplier/OEM should be notified immediately with supportive info and docs.
- Co-ordinate with involved stakeholders to make sure that all billings/ invoices are being sent to FIS Vietnam timely and accuracy.
- Update Control book with report to monitor shipments exactly and daily
- Other tasks: to be assigned by Project managers/ account owners.

Special Working Conditions
• At least 2 years experience in Freight Forwarder (Sea freight)/ Shipping lines. Export and import; requires an extended knowledge of customs process. Knowledge of sea freight industry and processes is necessary;

Essential Educational and / or Training Qualifications & Certificates
• University/ Colleague or similar graduated.
• Good at English.

Preferred Experience and Knowledge
• Experience in customs clearance for both import/export.
• Know well and familiar with ECUS for E-customs.
• Prefer to have experience with customs in industrial parks.
• Experience in handling works, for vary kind of goods.
• Honest, responsible, able to work under stress and going out.
• Good knowledge of computer systems, invoicing and company tools.
• Good communication skills both to co-workers and customers, suppliers, etc.
• Efficient use of time.
• Knowledge of service levels expected by clients.
